UPSC Specialist Recruitment 2023 Educational Qualification

Specialist Grade III (Anaesthesiology):
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Post- Graduate Degree/Diploma in the concerned speciality or super speciality mentioned in Section A or Section B in Schedule VI or equivalent i.e. M.D.(Anaesthesiology)/ M.S.(Anaesthesiology)/ Diploma in Anaesthesiology (D.A.).

Specialist Grade III (Bio- Chemistry):
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Post- Graduate Degree as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. M.D.(Bio- Chemistry)/ M.Sc.( Medical Bio- Chemistry)/ Ph.D.( Bio- Chemistry)/ D.Sc.( Bio- Chemistry).

Specialist Grade III (Forensic Medicine):
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Post- Graduate Degree as mentioned in section A in Schedule VI i.e. M.D.(Forensic Medicine).

Specialist Grade III (Microbiology):
A recognized MBBS degree qualification included in the First Schedule or Second Schedule or Part II of the Third Schedule (other than licentiate qualifications) to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956. Holders of Educational qualifications included in Part II of the Third Schedule should also fulfil the conditions specified in sub-section (3) of section 13 of the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956.

Specialist Grade III (Pathology):
